Although not exhibited at Crewe Works Open Weekend, whilst in the area the opportunity was taken to visit the Railway Age at Crewe to photograph the ill fated APT-P. 370006 is seen exhibited on a siding rather than running on the WCML on the other side of the wall. The day before this photo was added to the gallery was the first day of full introduction to service of Virgins Pendolino tilting trains. A case of Britain inventing whilst somebody else persevered and perfected !!!!
