The following seven photographs show 56119 working one of the shortest (distance wise) traffic flows in the UK. Every weekday afternoon a locomotive would arrive at North Blyth from Tyne Yard. After collecting a rake of loaded hoppers, the train would run to Lynemouth Aluminium smelter with its load of alumina. At Lynemouth the loaded wagons would be exchanged for an empty set, which were then returned to North Blyth for loading. The locomotive would then return light back to Tyne Yard. Here 56119 is pictured at the North Blyth terminal shunting the wagons that will form 6N69 1524 North Blyth-Lynemouth on 11/09/2002.
