On Wednesday 02/06/2004 47145 'Merddin Emrys' worked 5Z59 1142 Neville Hill-Bicester COD consisting of ex Virgin HST stock for secure storage. I had planned to photograph the train north of Oxford but it never arrived. Instead 47145 was declared a failure at Banbury and reversed into a siding opposite Banbury North Signal Box. The ensemble spent the rest of the week & weekend at Banbury allowing this photo to be obtained on Monday 07/06/2004.
