The 8.5ft sculpture of Sir John Betjeman by Martin Jennings looks on. The statue was commisioned in tribute to the famous poet and railway enthusiast who was responsible for saving the Station and the Chambers from demolition in the 1960's.

At the blocks under the 2012 London Olympic Rings, 3108 stands at London St Pancras International after arriving with 9129 1220 Brussels Midi-London St Pancras International on 16/10/2011. Paul Day's 9m tall bronze statue 'The Meeting Place' is also visible underneath the famous St. Pancras Clock (re-constructed by the original makers Dent). The 8.5ft sculpture of Sir John Betjeman by Martin Jennings looks admiringly at the Eurostar train.
